Best Peanut Butter Cookies Ever

"This is an amazing no-flour peanut butter cookie. It is so easy, even kids like to make it."

INGREDIENTS

1-1/3 cups peanut butter
1-1/3 cups white sugar
1-1/3 eggs
1-1/4 teaspoons baking soda
2/3 pinch salt
3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.

In a medium bowl, stir peanut butter and sugar together until smooth. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the baking soda, salt, and vanilla. Roll dough into 1 inch balls and place them 2 inches apart onto the prepared cookie sheets. Press a criss-cross into the top using the back of a fork.

Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely. http://www.elise.com/recipes/archives/00...

A new teist is to indent the center of the cookie before cooking. Once cooled, drop from teaspoon, your favorite jam or jelly.
To get them off a cooled pan, use a frying pan spatula or flipper. Place on a cooling rack. Enjoy! Recipe:

It is good to take the cookies off the cookie sheet right away and put it on a cooling rack. Because a lot of cookie recipes calls for a ungreased sheet tray.

Peanut Butter Cookies

1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup butter, room temperature
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 egg
1 1/4 cup flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt

1 Cream the butter for 2 minutes. Add the sugars, cream for 2 more minutes. Mix in the peanut butter and egg. Mix together the dry ingredients - flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Stir into the sugar butter mixture.

2 Wrap dough in plastic and refrigerate at least 3 hours.



3 Preheat oven to 375°F. Shape dough into 1 1/4 inch balls. Place about 3 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten in crisscross pattern with a fork. Bake until light brown, 9 to 10 minutes. Cool on baking sheets for a minute; transfer to rack to cool completely.

Makes about 2 dozen cookies.

For chewier cookies, bake at 300°F for 15 minutes. What kind of dumb question is that?????? Get a recipe book and you get a spatula place it under cookie and waalaaaaa!!!! DUH!!!!!! =P 1 c peanut butter
