allrecipes.com okay, follow me. you know those like marbel cake, well five of those staked on top of eachother and betwween each layer, is a chocolate mouse filling. then the whole thing is covered with chocholate, prefieribly the one that hardens. then before it drys cover it with carmel, chocolate , and reasberry sause and whiped cream. topped with mint leaves and some fruit and sided with ice cream, you have the best dessert for everyone. I like to add the same cookie like straws to them, like the ones overwise's makes. hope this helps!!! You could make a creme brulee...it's really tasty and easy to make. Plus it looks fancy. How about an ice box cake? Fast easy quick! All it takes is layer by layer of chocolate pudding, graham crackers and top it off with cool whip! You can make this in a glass bread pan! And you can make it the night before! No hassle, very easy! well and good dessert would probably be some low fat yogurt because if its not low fat a moment on the lips a life time on the hips One of my friends serves this at every dinner party she has:

In a small saucepan, heat over low heat until warm but not hot then remove from heat.
2 cups whipping cream
3/4 cup fine granulated sugar

In another small saucepan, mix.
1/2 cup water
1 (1/4 oz.) envelope of unflavored gelatin

Bring to a boil and stir to dissolve the gelatin. Remove from heat. Blend into the cream mixture.

In a separate bowl, mix together until smooth:
2 cups sour cream
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Slowly pour in the cream and gelatin mixture. Whisk. Pour into fancy glasses - wineglasses, scotch glasses or ramekins. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours. Top with fresh berries.

Another super easy one is kahlua or bailey's puddings, if you
take alcohol...
Mix 1 packet instant chocolate pudding with 1 cup cold milk. Add in 1 cup of the liqueur of your choice. Pour into cups or bowls of some sort and chill at least 4 hours (it doesn't set as quickly with half liqueur). Top with dabs of whipped cream and a fancy cookie. we always make a jello salad or mold if you call it that. use one can of crushed pineapple drained , a small can of mangeraine oranges drained cool whip one container cottage and mix with one small package of dry red jello open the dry jello and mix in withe other ingerates in a big bowl or big container with a lid . you can double the things depending on how mush you need also can be made a couple of hrs ahead but don't leave out too long it will become a little watery from all the juice from the fruit even though you drained it you just eat as a moose type of dessert does not need to set but needs to be be cold for taste. easy to make homemade cheese cake.
-take preformed 8"or9" pie gram cracker crust any flavor of your choice
-half container of cool whip
-3 quarters cup jam your choice
-1 reg size pack of cream cheese
it works well if at room temp
blend everything together you'll get a creamy paste
put mixture into crust
cover with lid provided
put in fridge for a few hours until mixture sets keep cold until ready to serve
for more flavor add frozen berries thawed on top of cheesecake before serving
use your imagination with jam or preserves choices
i like strawberry it works well and can be done mostly no sugar added look for low fat low sugar substitutes jello cake... its easy and delicious

get a regular white cake, mix like the box says then pour into the pan and bake like the box says.... after the cake is done.... take a few straws and cut them into thirds and put the straws into the top of the cake (space them out evenly) then mix up some jello whatever flavor you want and pour it over your baked cake...then put in the refridgerator over night.... top with cool whip

I know your only have two diner guests, but you can pack them up some to take home with them Everyone likes banana pudding. Not hard to make and you'll have dessert for yourself for a day or two. Vanilla wafers...a coupla' bananas and some pudding mix. The directions should be on the pudding box. I love it. My favorite quick dessert is this:
1 angel food cake cut in 1 inch pieces
1 small jar of favorite jam (seedless)
1 (4 pack) vanilla pudding

Put a layer of angel food cake in a wineglass (or whatever you have), heat the jam in a small saucepan until warm, drizzle over angel food cake. Pour 1 pudding cup over top. Add berries or grated chocolate to top it off. Looks pretty and taste great. You can also put it together in a pretty glass bowl. Frozen berries with white chocolate sauce. Easy to do.

Take out frozen berries about 10 mins or so before you want to serve.
Melt white chocolate with a little vanilla essence in a double boiler.
Place berries in the serving dish or bowl. Nice crystal glass looks good too.
Pour melted chocolate over the frozen berries. Serve immediately.
The taste of the cold berries and warm white chocolate sauce is amazing. Get a cheese cake from your local grocery store, let it thaw but not all the way other wise you may have a mess, then take an ice cream scooper and scoop out the cheese cake making little balls and dip them in a chocolate you want to use the hardening shell chocolate that you use on ice cream then stick them in the freezer. they are so good. I tried this once in a restaurant and it was good.

Spread orange marmalade (fine type) on a ready made dessert pancake (crepes), warm them up and serve with ice cream and fresh berries or even canned pineapples - not too heavy and no fuss and a perfect end to the evening.
