Does anyone have a super basic recipe that I can make from items I already have that can be made quickly (ie no rising...it's already 5:30 and I am hungry!!!)

What part of "I don't have mix" would make anyone think I would have bisquick?

Ok...one other thing..don't have a bisciut cutter (and yes...I am aware I am spelling biscut differently every time!!) Can I make balls or use a large drinking glass? Or even use a loaf pan and slice them when baked and cooled?

Turn onto well floured surface, and roll to 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick. Biscuits will double in size when baked. Cut into circles, and let rest for 5 - 10 minutes.

Yes, you can use a drinking glass as a cutter; just make sure you have some flour on the inside and outside rim first. Sometimes, I take the lazy way out and just cut them into square shapes instead of the typical rounds. The baking time would be more like one big shortcake if you tried to bake them in a loaf.
