Converting cakes to cupcakes?!

Question:

Converting cakes to cupcakes?

I need to know if any regular cake recipe can be converted into a cupcake form?? Is this an "always" type of deal or are there some exception? Thank you!

I dont mean box cakes, i mean from scratch. So if i have a recipe for a black forest cake, i can make black forest cupcakes? I just shove the cake mix into the cupcake tin with paper liners. and watch that they don't burn..they cook faster. i think that you can use any cake mix for making cupcakes. When i make cupcakes thats what i do Any cake recipe can be poured into any shape pan- cake pan, cupcake tins, etc. But, you may need to adjust the temperature, or more likely, just the time you bake them. Keep your eye on cupcakse, as they burn easily. You can use any cake mix to make cupcakes. The only thing that will change will be the time. You could even use batter from scratch to do cupcakes.
Try this little trick:
When you start to fill the cupcake tin fill up 1/4 put a Hershey's chocolate kiss with or with out almonds in the middle then fill with the rest of the batter then bake. Keep an eye on it.
Bake On! =D Any cake recipe can be used for cupcakes. You just need to bake the batter in a cupcake pan or use those paper/foil cupcake cups to bake them. You make the mix the same way. Just pour it into muffin tins instead of a cake pan. Most cake recipes can be used for cupcakes. It should say so right on the back of the box. Absolutely any recipe will work - so long as it's not cheesecake! Just pour the mix into a cupcake tray instead of a big cake tin for baking. Be careful, because many small cakes will cook faster (and so burn faster) than one large one.
