Cookie Pie?!

Question:

Cookie Pie?

I am going to make a cookie pie for my friend's birthday on Monday. I want it to just be a giant chocolate chip cookie the size of a pie (thickness of one, too), but I'm not sure if it will turn out. Can you give me any suggestions/recipes? I want this to be perfect for her.

Answers: I love cookie pie. There's a couple recipes I know of out there...

This one uses an actual pie shell to hold it together better. I've never made this one but my boyfriend's mom loves it.

This one uses a Pie shell also. It's really good - toll house is the best.

The only other one I've ever used just called for 2 sticks of already made cookie dough (tollhouse of course!) and you flattened them both out into the pie pan. But I dont remember if you grease the pan or do anything else... Sorry. But I do know that the ones with the actual pie shells are amazing. :) You are looking for nestle Tollhouse pie or it's also called Black Cat Pie
