Can i use eggs instead of egg substitute?!

Question:

Can i use eggs instead of egg substitute?

i found a recipe for scones that calls for 3 tbsp. egg substitute. i don't have it at home, neither do i want it. can i use eggs instead? if so, how many?

Answers: Yes, you can use whole eggs. Beat one egg well with 1 teaspoon of water, then measure out three tablespoons of the beaten egg.. That should do it. Source(s):
I am a personal chef 1/4 cup of Egg Beaters equals 1 egg
2 TBS = 1 egg white

http://community.cookinglight.com/showth... If it were me, I'd substitute 3 tablespoons of "scrambled egg" - which would probably be about 1 egg. Use a web search engine for "recipe scones egg" and see how other recipes handle the situation. My guess you'll see 1 (or 2 if the eggs are small) egg, slightly beaten.
