Purchased Cedar boards for Grilling?


Does anyone have some simple recipes using the cedar boards with fish? I perfer Salmon!


Answers: I make Salmon all the time on cedar planks.

1. Soak the planks for at least 2 hours.
2. Place salmon on plank and season with salt, pepper.
3. Brush with dijon mustard; then sprinkle with brown sugar.
4. Place on grill and close cover. Bake until fish is flaky.

No need to turn the salmon over! You don't need a recipe.

Soak them in Italian Dressing and follow the directions for the Board and grill them. Perfect every time.

You can also sprinkle with Lemon Pepper seasoning and Dill. Alton Brown did a ahow about planking fish with a large section just for salmon - check out FoodTV.com
