Is it necessary to wash frozen chicken if you cook it really well?!

Question:

Is it necessary to wash frozen chicken if you cook it really well?

Answers: No. It's really not necessary to wash chicken.

Any nasties that are on chicken will be destroyed by cooking. When you wash it under a faucet, you have the potential of spraying bacteria all over your sink and kitchen counters, where it will not be destroyed until you thoroughly sanitize everything. I am sure alot of people do not but you really should therefore no it is not necessary Yes, always wash raw chicken! Some say it's not necessary because cooking will kill the bacteria, but I say why take the chance! I don't eat anything that's been frozen.

I don't posses a freezer nor do I want one.

THE GOLDEN RULE:

Fresh is best............!!! yes! wash inside and out and pat dry with paper towels YES!

put your frozen foods in the dishwasher on the "Pots & Pans" setting.

...while that's running, go back to your market and buy fresh for about the same price. Then buy some good kitchen cleaner and some Jet Dry, you're going to need to clean up that mess in your kitchen... For all 16 years of my life we have not washed chicken before we cook it...unless there is like blood all on it...that is just gross...anyways, none of my family has ever gotten sick or anything.
