Answers: Chicken Kiev...the most expensive ingrediant are the chicken breast, and since you have to flatted the chicken, it does stretch....it's a very elegant dish, and is prepared properly is an extremely nice dish. cous cous vegetables, rice and grilled burguer. its not fattening, it contains all that a body needs, and it costs less than £1.00 Chicken Kebabs.
4 Chicken Breasts.
2T Soy Sauce.
2T Dry White Wine Vinegar.
1 Clove Garlic Crushed.
1t Fresh Grated Ginger.
Chop chicken into 2cm (?”) cubes. Mix in a bowl with soy, wine garlic and ginger and marinade for 1/2 hours.
Prepare vegetables for kebabs. Mushrooms, tomatoes, peppers (bell), onions, pineapple, baby corn.
Thread onto skewers and cook on the grill.
Serve with fried rice. Sweet Italian sausage, sauteed with sliced peppers and onions, served on a toasted roll with ketchup. Salad and potato chips on the side. This is my favorite recipe finder on the internet. I use it often. Look at the category on the left hand side, choose one, add your own touches:
http://www.cooks.com/rec/ch/main_dishes.... spaghetti with home made fresh basil pesto ... hm... that could be expensive? but it iwll be ready in 45 min. lol
it needs: spaghetti
and for Pesto: fresh basil, olive oil, garlic glove, pine nuts & parmesan cheese ground beef is usually inexpensive
i could suggest
sweet and sour meatballs
cabbage rolls
meatloaf (add onion soup mix it makes the taste very different and awesome), with mashed potatoes done in a different way than just plain...like add steak spice, or bacon bits, or sour cream and garlic butter.
spagetti sauce with meatballs or meat in the sauce
baked taco salad
stuffed green peppers
chili....add a little hot sauce
burgers...add onion soup mix, hot sauce and worcestershire sauce...awesome...and a cheap side

a nice recipe i have for potato and onion soup

contact me if you want recipes for any....but i expect to be notified if you win with my recipe ....lol
