Corn oil is a specific type of vegetable oil insetad of a mixed vegetable oil. Peanut Oil or Olive oil are different textures and heavier flavors, so avoid those. should be fine, corn is a vegetable oil. Yes, they're interchangeable in baked goods.....I like to also use peanut oil, but you have to be careful it anyone in your household has an allergy to peanuts.......Not a good idea to use peanut oil if your going to be, say, bringing brownies to an office environment where you might not know whom might have a peanut allergy......Enjoy!!!

Christopher Yes. I always do. I have been using corn oil for about everything anymore. I really can't tell the difference. Yes. Corn oil is a vegetable oil.
