Question:

Is mincemeat pie make me fat? does it have alot of callories?

Answers: No food will make you fat unless you eat too much. All pie will have a high calorie count, at least if it is worth eating. Mincemeat depends a lot on what kind. Real old fasioned made with beef suet has a lot of fat therefore calories. Some commercial mincemeat it actually meatless and very low fat but not low calorie because of the sugar.
Have a piece for me, with whipped cream please. Yes, yes and yes.

It might not be the worst offender but it's still up there. One piece of pie won't make you fat. If you eat it all the time, that's a different story. But sometimes, if something is a favorite, you have to let go of the calorie counter and enjoy life a little.

Pie *is* considered a high fat food because of the crust. According to a list of holiday foods on about.com, mincemeat isn't as high in calories as apple or pecan pie, but pumpkin is half of what mincemeat is.
