Answers: STUFFED PEPPERS

4 lg. green peppers or 4 lg. tomatoes
1/2 to 3/4 lb. hamburger
1 onion, chopped
Salt and Pepper
Parsley (dried) to taste
1-1/2 c. cooked white rice (any kind)
1 small can tomato sauce

Cut tops "caps" off of the peppers and put aside. Core peppers and remove seeds. Remove as many of the membranes as you are able. (They will make the peppers bitter.) Boil water in a large pot and add peppers and "caps." Meanwhile, saute the onion in a skillet and then add hamburger, salt, pepper and parsley. Mix with cooked white rice. Remove peppers from water, and stuff with mixture. Do not top with caps yet. Pour tomato sauce over peppers. Add "cap" and place in a shallow baking dish. Add a little water to the dish to keep from sticking. Bake at 350 F. until peppers are soft. Check often to see if pan needs more water.

HUNGARIAN GOULASH

2-1/2 lb. beef, cut into chunks
1/2 garlic clove, crushed
1/2 c. onions, chopped
2 Tbsp. butter
2 C. water
1 C. catsup
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1 Tbsp. paprika
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. salt
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. flour
8 oz. of noodles

Brown beef with onion and garlic in large skillet with butter. Add water, catsup, and seasonings, cover and cook at low heat until the meat is tender, about 2 hours. Mix flour with 1/4 c. of water and add to hot mixture, stirring constantly, and cook until thick. In the meantime cook noodles in boiling salted water. Drain, mix with part of the sauce from the meat, and serve with the meat over them.

NANA'S LASAGNA

1 box lasagna noodles
1-1/2 lb. ground beef
1 small chopped onion
1 egg
grated cheese
parsley
garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste
3/4 cup bread crumbs (optional)
2 jars ready made spaghetti sauce
Velveeta cheese, sliced

Cook noodles according to directions. Rinse under cold water and drain. In a bowl mix together the ground beef, chopped onion, egg, grated cheese, salt, pepper, parsley and garlic, to taste. Add bread crumbs and mix well. In a skillet, fry the mixture in a little hot oil until crumbly. In a large rectangular casserole dish, layer the sauce, noodles, meat mixture and cheese, starting with the sauce and repeating until you have used all the ingredients. (You may have some sauce left over.) Top with cheese. Cover the casserole with aluminum foil and bake at 350 F. about 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake 10 minutes more until the cheese is melted. Checking to make sure the cheese does not burn. Cut into squares and serve with garlic bread and a tossed salad. lobster, baked potatoe, crab legs, and salad! seafood and fish is so good. teriyaki salmon and brown rice with steamed asain greens and oyster sauce!
My favourite. You can find teriyaki recipes on the internet at about.com i think.

Or seatch for traditional recipes.
Dont use bottled sauces, they are full of artifical colours, falvours and preservatives. Plus it tatses better when you cook it yourself.

I dont like gluten and these are great, search a recipe for Thai Somboons, they are a rice cake falvooured with melon juice and seasme seeds. If I follow the first answer...your screwed...:) If I understood what you want...sounds like you have a family...If you want more let me know...I have a few quik but good about 30 min recipes...they got me through til my kids were grown...here's one...Maccaroni Saute, You need 1pd hamburger...maybe a little more depending on family size... 2 cups of elbow maccaroni uncooked 1\4 cup chopped or minced onions

Brown ground beef,Drain. while your browning beef in a skillet, Iron skillet always worked well for me...
Heat oiled pan Saute Onion garlic And bell pepper add 2 cups of uncooked maccaroni and cook til Mac starts to turn yellow add cooked Hamburger stir add Tomato juice salt pepper and worchestire sauce stir periodically throughout....Lower heat cover and simmer for 30 minutes Serve with Salad and Bread and butter...I think it took me longer to type than it will for you to make... My favourite curry is made with lamb (shoulder is best), but you can use chicken or turkey.

Chop a clove or two of garlic, as many chilli peppers as you want (I usually use 5 or 6 for enough to feed 3 - don't take the seeds out) and one or two onions finely, fry gently with half to 1 tblsp garam masala in ghee (clarified butter) or oil until soft. Add in 2 small or one large eggplant (we call them aubergines), sliced about 1cm or half an inch thick, 2 or 3 sweet peppers, deseeded and cut into chunks, and your diced meat or chicken portions. Cover with just enough stock (or water and a stock cube) so that you can just about push it all under the liquid. Season with salt to taste (you will need more than you expect).

Cover tightly and turn down to a simmer when it boils. If you're serving with brown rice (which I recommend), put this on now in a separate pan, otherwise, carry on cooking for 20 minutes and put your white rice on then. Keep the curry simmering while the rice cooks. Add in 2 or 3 carrots cut in chunks about 10 minutes before you want to serve, so they don't go too soft.

When the rice is cooked, you can either serve the curry like it is or take out the bigger bits and beat in 1-2 tablespoonfuls of rice flour or cornstarch (you need to mix the cornstarch with a bit of water first) over a high heat, then stir until the sauce is thickened. If you have fresh or frozen coriander/cilantro, chop up a good portion and stir in just before serving.

Serve with cucumber raita (cucumber with yogurt) so anyone who finds it too hot can take the sting off.
