Baked Potatoe?!

Question:

Baked Potatoe?

how long to bake it for? just a plain one!

Answers: The best ever baked potatoes are not wrapped in foil or microwaved.

Scrub large Idaho baking potato
pierce with fork several times.
(This will prevent a potato explosion in oven.)

Oil potato and sprinkle with coarse salt liberally.

Place on rack in oven and bake at 400 degrees for 40 - 60 minutes.

Then pass the trimmings like:

bacon bits
sour cream
chopped chives
butter
cheddar cheese
salsa
and whatever else suits the fancy.

Enjoy! Depends on the size of the potato. I usually leave them in the oven at 350F for about 2 hours. 2 min. in microwave

poke holes in the potato after you wash it off. clean it, wrap it in aluminum foil with a little olive oil, bake for 45-70 minutes In microwave 8 minutes In the oven put on 450 and bake for 40-45 minutes mostly it depend of the size of the potato...but I usually start the cooking in a microwave on high for 3 minutes for a single one wait 1-2 min. you can check how cook it is with a fork.

remember to prick the potato before you put it in the microwave. 1 hour at 400 degrees. I like to wrap mine in foil with butter. Don't listen to the guy who said two hours! You will have a little rock after that amount of time! I do it quickly this way. I am going to guess the potato is about 1/2 lb. I first microwave it for 3 minutes, then I oil the skin and put it into the oven for 10 minutes. You will have a nice soft inside, and the skin will be a little crisp. Perfect.
