Question:

I need a recipe for Thousad Island Dressing......?

Do you have one?

Answers: THOUSAND ISLAND DRESSING

1/3 c. minced onions with juice
2 1/2 c. mayonnaise
3-4 splashes Tabasco sauce
1 lemons
1-2 drops Worcestershire sauces
1/2 c. chopped sweet pickles
1 c. chili sauce
salt and pepper
1/4 c. chopped pimiento (optional)

Place all ingredients except the lemon and salt and pepper in a mixing bowl.
Season lightly with salt and pepper and mix together.
Cut the lemon in half and squeeze in about a tablespoon or two of juice.
Whisk the lemon juice in well and taste. Adjust the seasonings; if the dressing needs more salt and pepper, add it now.
Keep in mind that the dressing will likely need more lemon juice for tartness. Continue squeezing in lemon juice and tasting until the dressing is creamy and slightly tangy.
Chill until needed. The dressing's flavors will blend and mellow while refrigerated.

Hope you enjoy this. I make it whenever I have time, we like it much better than the bought kind. Source(s):
my recipe box ketchup, mayonaise, and relish mixed together. just mix mayonnaise and catsup..salt and pepper to taste very simple and easy! take maonaise, ketchup and pickle relish and mix it together. This is similar to Thousand Islands dressing, but with an added little "kick". Tiny kick, not a heavy kick..
