Recipes in which rice is the main ingredient?!

Question: I have a craving for rice, I don't know why, and I'm trying to find new ways to make it. Any recipe you have will help, esp. dishes from the middle east. :) thanks

The best and easiest rice recipies are for Risotto.
Risotto is basically Rice cooked in chicken/beef stock.

All you do is the following:

Cook rice in olive oil until golden. Add 1/2 cup of broth and stir until it is absorbed. Repeat until rice is cooked.

If you want, you can sautee vegetables into the mix, but add them before you add the broth.
Ohh I know one, i think it's called rizot or something?
I like rice just about any time. My favorite is a mixture of half brown rice and half purple sticky rice. It's good all by itself.

1 cup brown rice
1 cup purple sticky rice
6 cups hot water
Put the ingredients in a large, covered microwave safe casserole dish. Nuke on high for 7 minutes and on 50% for 45 minutes.

Once you have cooked rice you can do just about anything with it. If you like curry, saute some chopped onion, celery and red bell pepper in a little olive oil. When they are just about done, add some of the cooked rice and some curry powder. You will have to add a little water. Stir and cook for a couple of minutes until the mixture become creamy.
