Here is an easy one that makes a really awesome pizza.
(1) loaf of fresh french bread
(2) packages of pepparoni
(1) large jar of top quality pizza sauce
(1) lb of shredded white/yellow mozarella cheese
Cut the french bread loaf in half, lengthwise, leaving it half as thick. Put the pizza sauce on, then the cheese, then the pepparoni. Bake for 20-25 minutes at about 450.
Makes an awesome pizza.
Edit: Keep an eye on the pizza...the time and temperature I gave were from memory from years ago...and I have slept since then.
start simple and buy a pizza shell pre made like "boboli".
make sure not to put to much sauce, it will make everything slide off.
after you master this way, then buy some dough from the bakery or market.
good luck
Use Grands biscuits for the crust....pat them out in a cake pan....pour pizza quick sauce on top and top with pepperoni ( and any other toppings you like....finish with cheese and bake for The amount of time the biscuits should be baked.
It's called Bubble Pizza as the crust gets bubbly.
buy a Red Baron thin crust pizza
any kind, thin crust
bake according to directions
I give you this as a slight alternative. Take a loaf of garlic bread apart (thaw, if frozen) and press in the bottom slightly. Spread your favorite spaghetti sauce. (I use mushroom sp. sauce from Aldi) Top with pepperoni and mozzarella cheese. Put the top back on and bake at 375 till golden brown. Pizza sub. Fairly inexpensive and delicious. You can vary your toppings depending upon your preferences and budget.
You can make your own pizzas really easily. Start with 1 1/2 cups of self raising flour, add 2 tablespoons of melted butter, then enough milk to make it into a soft dough. You don't need to knead it at all, just flatten it out using the flat of your hand or a rolling pin, then put your topping on top. I find a pinch of salt, and some garlic, or even herbs in the base taste nice, but these are all optional.
I like to add tomato puree, grated cheese, then anything else you fancy - pre-cook anything that needs cooking though. I also like to add a little fresh or dried oregano.
Put it in an oven at 200 degrees, and check it after about 10 minutes - although it will probably need nearer 15 minutes to get it right.
Let it cool for a couple of minutes before eating, or you'll burn your mouth (like I do every time)!
