For Frozen PreCooked Shrimp how do you prepare them for eating?!

Question: the bag says to "avoid further cooking" does this mean I have to eat them cold after I thaw them?

Commercially frozen cooked shrimp should be thawed in the refrigerator. If you know you will be using precooked shrimp, take it out of the freezer the night before, or in the morning before you go to work, so it is fully thawed when you are ready to make dinner. If you forgot to thaw the precooked shrimp, you can place them in a colander and rinse under COLD running tap water. Do not use warm or hot water because it will not only negative effect the taste, but the texture as well, because adding heat is like adding additional partial cooking.

Prepare your dish/recipe & add the shrimp at the end, then just heat through for a few moments. Also good in a salad, shrimp cocktail, fried rice or any pasta dish.
Let them defrost in the refrigerator (not in the freezer part) overnight. Shell them.

Most people eat them cold with red cocktail sauce. But if you like them warm heat them a few at a time in your microwave for about 30 seconds.
You can heat them but don't cook them for long. They will get tough. If you are adding them to a sauce, prepare the sauce and then add the shrimp at the end just to heat through.
Run them under warm until thawed and not cold. Heat some good olive oil and add a favorite herb (rosemary, seafood seasoning, red pepper flakes or grated lemon rind) and get the oil hot (not as hot as you'd need for frying) then pour over the shrimp and toss.
You can also thaw them, skewer and grill quickly.
Let the shrimp thaw in cold (not ice cold) running water for 1 minutes. Let drain completely. That's what my mom taught me.
Yes they are generally served cold. They are typically served to guests on ice.
Thaw them and serve with cocktail sauce.
To make cocktail sauce, take a cup of Heinz chilli sauce (which is similar to ketchup, not a true chili pepper sauce), and add prepared horse radish to taste. Add Tabasco sauce to taste (maybe start with 20 drops or so). Mix in freshly-squeezed juice from half a lemon.
You can also serve them in salads.
If you wish to explore cooked shrimp dishes, start with fresh or fresh frozen, uncooked shrimp in the shell. There is almost no limit to what you can cook up with fresh, uncooked shrimp.
