Plain old chocolate chip cookies are my favorite to make. Painted sugar cookies are fun, too. They taste great and I think they're even low fat. The recipe is in either the Betty Crocker cook book or the one by Better Homes And Gardens. You actually use a paint brush and the paint is made with water, egg yolk, and food coloring.

Choc chips. A caterer friend gave me this recipe. It's great for fetes and works well with gluten free flour. You can substitute the choc chips for nuts or anything. My kids like M&M's. Because it makes such a lot I often roll half the mixture into a log, wrap in cling wrap and refrigerate it (up to a week) or freeze it for later.
