Can i use something other than icing sugar for a cream filling?!

Question: Icing sugar is also known as powdered sugar and confectioner's sugar. For a substitute when making your cream filling (or anything that calls for icing or powdered sugar), you can mix 1 cup granulated sugar + 1 tablespoon corn starch in a blender (or food processor) until powdery.

sure re-gotta cheese with nuts spiced with nut meg and a dash of allspice
nope,
icing sugar are finely powdered sugar,
so if you are to use granulated sugar for a cream filling,
you'd be sure to taste the grainy filling,
which is not at all nice.
