Different ingredients for oats...?!

Question: I love oatmeal. I have it for breakfast and have it for a snack! Beofre, i use to just eat it with some water in the microwave. Then i added some brown sugar to it with water. Few days ago, i tried it with milk. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! Omg it tastes so much better and now i want to eat it more! I added just a little bit of heathbar crunch to it this morning. Now im adding a caramel flavoring syrop to it. So good. Any other things that can make it sweeter that you like?

I always cook it with milk. It's tastier and healthier that way.

I often add raisins, cinnamon and a little pancake (maple)syrup, and if I have some a bit of chopped walnuts. Yum!

Chopped dates and apple is good, too.

I also love oatmeal--healthful and cheap! Can't go wrong!
I do this w/10grain hot cereal.

Heat up a little bit of milk/soymilk, put it in the blender
w/ripe banana
honey
and a pinch of cinnamon and pour it over the oatmeal.

mmmmmmmm...
Definitely milk, and for a real taste treat, add some maple syrup. Real maple syrup...not "pancake" syrup! YUM
1/4 cup quick oats
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 pinch salt
1/2 cup water
1 stick mozzarella string cheese

1. Take the microwave safe bowl we all have somewhere.
2. Combine your oats, water, baking soda and salt mixing it in a sloppy way.
3. Place your slice of cheese on top. Or if your using the better suggestion of a stick cheese, place it in the middle. The stick or string cheese most kids love in their lunches for school is what I use. It can be any combination of the yellow or white or whatever you've got to try.
4. Put a cover, just setting on top of the bowl and heat in the microwave for about 45 seconds.
5. Take and stir the contents together until all looks like a gooey mostly oat concoction.
6. Now you can let it cool or add what you wish to it and eat up.
7. My suggestions include salt, pepper, crackers for dipping, salsa, peppers, and the list could go on.
coconut is always good. Also for a simpler oatmeal, a swirl of butter. You can find maple sugar at a specialty store and of course there's always honey. Hmmm. You've got my imagination going now! How about some mini choc chips?
