Can you cook 'oven chips' in a slow cooker?!

Question: Strange question perhaps, but I've been wondering lately! I've done meat and vegetables in it, but I'm a total newby to slow cookers and am still working out the 'rules'. I'm on about the likes of McCains Oven Fries or something like that.

Ta la's!

Slow cookers stew instead of roast, you will probably end up with soggy mushy chips instead of crispy and fluffy.
I don't think it would work. Chips need high heat for a short time, slow cookers do the EXACT opposite, but, try it anyway you would only have lost a few chips if it doesn't work.
The chips are going to taste terribly wrong and horrible. You can always try it, you are not going to lose much.
It says 'OVEN CHIPS' for a reason love...

Cook in the oven on what ever heat or fastness as u like it jus mite take longer
If you like em soggy.
