TURDUCKIN is big in the South. How many enjoy it? How many have no idea what it is?!
Answers: I love turduckin. For those who don't know it's a boneless chicken, stuffed inside a boneless duck stuffed inside of a turkey. Us southerners eat turduckin at thanksgiving, but they are available year round in many local grocery stores.
I have never tried it. I do know what it is though. I'm not sure that I would like duck, I do love turkey and chicken.
Never had it before, but I hear it's really good. I can't think why it wouldn't, it's meat stuffed with meat suffed with meat! It the perfect carnivore meal! lol!
love it!
I've heard of it, didn't know what it was called.
I've never tried it.
Do resturants serve it or do you have to fix it yourself.
I live in Tennessee.
I'm from California and dad once made it for Christmas. It delish!
I've heard of it. Looked up how to make it and realized it is WAY BEYOND my skills! I would love to try it one day.
I've only had Easter Turduckin:
Stuff a chocolate egg into a marshmallow Peep.
Stuff the peep into a hollow chocolate rabbit.
Eat the combination.
Get a major Sugar High
More seriously, you can buy pre-made Turduckin at good supermarkets here up north during the hollidays.
Where I eat (parts of Colorado, Nebraska, Wyoming, etc.) we're just starting to hear about this. No one I know has tried it.
I've never had it, but I don't like duck. Food Network's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives will be having a show soon on the turducken. Guy went to a local restaurant in Florida and they featured the turducken. Food Network said the show will air around the holidays.
Born and raised in the south. Living on a farm right now. And I have to say I've never heard of it. I thought you were making a cruel joke about us southerners and cow patties. (guess that's just where a farm girl's mind goes when you say turduckin. lol)
