How long do you cook a Partially Cooked Ham in a Crock Pot for?!

Question: I have about a 3 pound "Partially" cooked ham (bone in) in the crock pot. How long should I cook it for? What's the longest it can cook before "overcooking" in a crock pot.

About 5 hr on low or 3 hr on high. I wouldn't cook it any longer than 6 on low or 4 on high. When it starts to turn dark colored has cooked too long. You could add 1/2 cup water. Save juice and freeze. Use later for bean soup. Or you could drain juice in a pan and bring to a boil. If it's really flavorful add a cup of water. Bring to a boil and thicken with mixture of cornstarch and water.
I would put it in for 8 hours on low setting. You cant destroy your food that way and it comes out delicious. You could do high for 4-6 hours, but that is if you are constantly checking on it. I hope you are not just dumping the ham into the crock pot alone? You should pour in a few cups of pinapple juice some brown sugar and a can or two of pineapple chunks. Yummy! I might have to try that.
