CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRIES
(MICROWAVE)
6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
2 tbsp. unsalted butter
1 pt. fresh strawberries, hulls intact, washed & dried
Line a cookie sheet with wax paper. In a 1 quart microwave proof bowl, place the chocolate, then adding the butter on top in center. Microwave on medium for 2 minutes, then stir. Continue microwaving on medium for 30 seconds to 1 minute more, until chocolate and butter are all melted, stirring frequently.
Using the strawberry hulls as handles, partially dip the strawberries into chocolate, twirling the strawberries in the chocolate to cover berries. Then place berries, hull side down, on the wax paper lined cookie sheet. Refrigerate for approximately 30 minutes before serving. Can be served individually or as garnish on cakes, custards or puddings.
Wash and pat dry some nice big strawberries, then use baking chocolate, and dip strawberries in the chocolate. The chocolate that you use comes in a little aluminum tray, you can use white, or regular chocolate.

you melt chocolate and dip them
i usually buy a chocoloate that is for baking in the baking aisle at your local grocer. white or dark or Milk chocolate..Melt it in a double boiler, or melt it in the microwave but keep any eye on it as it tends to BURN faster in the microwave.
INGREDIENTS:
1 dozen ripe strawberries
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips/bar
PREPARATION:
1. Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with aluminum foil.
2. Wash the strawberries and dry them thoroughly.
3. Place the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave them until they melt, stirring every 45 seconds.
4.dry the berries and dip into chocolate mixture and coat well.
5.Place on wax paper to cool.
you can even double dip like white chocolate then milk chocolate but do it when the 1st layer is dry and cool.
melt chocolate than dip washed and dried strawberrys in. put them on wax paper. put in the fridge intill hard, then enjoy.
Melt some chocolate (in the microwave will do...just microwave chocolate chips until they're all shiny, then stir them up...you don't have to keep them in there until they fully run together), mix in a small dollop of light corn syrup (about 2 tablespoons per 20oz. bag of chocolate chips), and stir it up.
Wash your strawberries, dry them really, really well, then dip them one-at-a-time into the hot chocolate/corn syrup mixture, then put them on a sheet pan that's covered with wax paper. Use the leaves as a convenient handle for dipping.
Once you've dipped all your strawberries, leave them on the counter until the chocolate hardens, then you can put them in an airtight, sealed container & pop them in the fridge (the corn syrup will keep the chocolate from getting cloudy in the fridge).
first make sure your strawberries are clean, refrigerate them to get them cold. Melt some semi-sweet chocolate chips in a large bowl in the microwave until they just start melting. Try it in 30 second intervals stirring after each. Don't over heat the chocolate. You want the chocolate not runny by a little less thick than peanut butter. Take your strawberries and dip them in using toothpicks and lay them on a cookie sheet or plate covered in wax paper and put them in the fridge.
