Question: I want to loose weight and eat better. What is your favorite recipe that is pretty healthy? It can be breakfast, lunch, dinner, or dessert.

GRILLED CHICKEN TERIYAKI

4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
1 cup teriyaki sauce
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 teaspoons minced fresh garlic
2 teaspoons sesame oil
Place chicken, teriyaki sauce, lemon juice, garlic, and sesame oil in a large resealable plastic bag. Seal bag, and shake to coat. Place in refrigerator for 24 hours, turning every so often.
Preheat grill for high heat.
Lightly oil the grill grate. Remove chicken from bag, discarding any remaining marinade. Grill for 6 to 8 minutes each side, or until juices run clear when chicken is pierced with a fork.

I make a very lemony salsa then put that over Salmon and cook it on a cedar plank. It rocks if you like Salmon

We also do roasted veggies and chicken.

throw whatever veggies you have in a cassarole dish I use brocoli, greenbeans,tomatos carrots,onions, bell peppers I drizzle evoo as a touch of water sprinkle basil, seasalt, pepper, and garlic on top. then I cut up chicken strips lay them on top of veggies and let bake untill cooked.

you can make this into a soup too when its all done in the oven put it in a stock pot add chicken broth and you have soup
I go to Curves and work out and eat healthy. One recipe that is good that comes from the curves book is call "Maple Turkey Salad". (It is one of my favorites). It takes 15 minutes to make, it is 381 calories. Here are the ingredients:
1 8 ounce package of salad greens (any kind)
3 ounces of cheddar cheese cut into matchsticks
1 medium tomato, cut into wedges
8 ounces cooked turkey breast (cubed) (2cups)
3 tablespoons of sunflower seeds kernels.
Dressing Ingredients:
3 table spoons sugar Free maple flavored syrup.
1/3 cup raspberry vinegar
3 table spoons of olive oil
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon basil.

layer salad ingredients into salad bowl. Shake together dressing ingredients and pour over. toss to coat well and serve immediately.
Makes 3 main dish servings.
great recipe, chicken salad stuffed tomatoes. make the chicken salad by chopping up some chicken & cooking it until done with oil in the pan.add extra flavor by putting pepper on the chicken.pat chicken dry & add light mayo a little red pepper(for spice),& other spices you like.put in a hollowed out tomato.(cut the top off the top & scoop out seeds)
