How many pieces of bread do you get in a loaf?!

Question: Bread comes in different sized loaves and some are thick sliced and some thin sliced. An average slice of bread is 1 ounce, so check the loaf and see how many ounces it weighs. That will tell you how many slices it contains, if they are regluar sized slices. For example, a 1.5 lb. loaf of bread should contain 24 slices, if they aren't extra thick or thin cut.
