CHILI CREAM CHEESE DIP

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 box Skyline chili with beans
8 oz. Cheddar cheese, shredded

Soften cream cheese and pat out in the bottom of a glass baking dish. Thaw chili and pour over top of cream cheese. Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Add cheddar cheese and bake until melted.

Serve with round Tostado chips.
You can do that and layer the top with shredded cheddar cheese and heat, but my favorite is:
Bottom - cream cheese
Middle - mild can of chilli beans without straining sauce
Top: fine shredded cheddar cheese

you can add chunks of hamburger too! YUM!!!
THis is my favorite dip (and my families as well)
You have it mostly right..
I use a 9 inch round pyrex dish, smear cream 2 12 oz packages of cream cheese on the bottom, cover with a canned chili (with or without meat) i ahve also used the hot chili as well. Then cover with shredded cheddar, or better yet, the mexican blen shredded cheese then microwave or bake till cheese is melted. Then I top it with some sliced black olives, or diced onion and enjoy.
I have made this recipe but with spicy salsa and no chili

Smear packs of cream cheese in the bottom of a glass pan, pour a jar of salsa on it and bake it for about 10 minutes on 350. I am sure this would work with chili as well.
