Try using corn chowder. I don't know if your recipe calls for potatoes,but it might add a new dimesion to it. It'll also give it more texture and mouthfeel.

you can use canned creamed corn ....or you can make your own with fresh corn thickened with a mixture of equal parts of flour and butter, cooked up in a sauce pan about 2 or 3 minutes, add some milk gradually and cook it until thickened, then add the fresh corn which you cut off the cob with a sharp knife; break each cob in half before you cut the pieces off, it is easier to handle that way .... or:
just buy a can of plain corn, puree it a little, cream it as above if you wish...
