Yea and maybe add some cheese
Thats it!
yep, and you can even wrap a little piece of cheese in there too. I love those..
Yeppers! Make sure though that you use some egg white to make sure that the cresent pastry doesn't open up when you are baking them!
Yep, the crescent rolls are pretty big, so you could cut them in half and make two "pigs in the blanket" per one crescent!!
Yes. You can add cheese and/or bacon as well. Serve some barbecue sauce, ketchup, and other condiments on the side for dipping if you like.
Here is a highly rated recipe, it also has parmesan cheese and garlic salt - use if you like, enjoy.
Mini Pigs-in-a-Blanket
Recipe #7971524
This is SO easy and because they're bite-sized, people eat them up quickly!

24-30 pigs
Little Smokies sausage
crescent rolls
parmesan cheese
garlic salt
Preheat oven according to directions on crescent roll package.
Unroll but leave intact 2 triangles of crescent rolls.
Pinch seam together and cut lengthwise into 5 strips and then cross-wise to make 10 strips.
Roll each strip around one sausage and place in baking pan that has been sprayed with non-stick cooking oil.
Sprinkle each pig with parmesan and garlic salt.
Bake according to crescent roll package directions.
Yup bake at 350 for about 15min or until the crescent is brown
Sounds about rite.
Yes, that's it. Also saw on Paula Deen's show where she makes "Hogs in a Sleeping Bag". Same concept as pigs in a blanket, only she used Grands! biscuits and smoked sausage cut to fit the larger biscuits. I have made them, my husband loves them with mustard.
you know the answer already, why do you have to ask it.
