Can you use spoiled sour cream for baking?!
Answers: if it is combined with the other ingrediants and then baked in a hot oven can it still be used? how hot does the oven have to be? will it taste different?
No, do not use spoiled sour cream for baking. The only dairy product that is safe to cook with after it is out dated is butter and that is only in baked foods. Don't do that with spoiled sour cream. Learned about the butter fact many years ago from a home economist. So don't throw out rancid butter, bake with it.
no
Just hearing that it is spoiled, gives me the feeling not to.
Why would you play roulette with being sick. I would not want my meal to be ruined by an upset tummy.
Do you have plain yogurt, you could replace the spoiled for the fresh.
once a milk based product goes bad it is time to throw awaqy. So No!!!!
no no no no no no no no no no no no
if dairy has gone bad..
it has gone BADDDDDDDDD
NOOOOOOOOO!
I wouldn't be too certain about rancid butter either. Back in the 1890's Marion Harland (who really knew how to cook) wrote:
Why do people say that something we would never spread ON a piece of pastry will be just fine INSIDE of it?
