I have a frozen Cabernet Pot Roast from Trader Joe's... What should I do with it?!

Question: Make soup and feed the homeless and hungry.

Answers: Make soup and feed the homeless and hungry.
I love pot roast best slow cooked. I use my crock pot and add veggies of choice and slow cook all day, 8-10 hours. It's so delicious. If you have juices from the package you can do the same thing. You may need to add more juices if you add veggies.... potatoes and carrots soak up the fluids some so you'll need to make sure you have enough fluid to not dry out the meat. You can add beef broth. Or just cook on slow with the juices you have and add no veggies and prepare some just before eating. Good luck, hope it's delicious.

I use a can of cream of mushroom soup, cream of onion soup, dry packet of onion soup and at least two soup cans of water. Mix together and add pot roast and potatoes and carrots and onions. Cook in crock pot for 8-10 hours and it's delicious and is my family's favorite meal. Sometimes they'd rather have noodles, I then cook them separately and prepare just before serving. Still add carrots and onions though.

Crock pot! Delicious, but simple!
Cook it, in a crock pot or the oven, Add carrots, potatoes, and mushrooms and onions.
you need to defrost the roast first....leave in the sink overnight....

for the oven
put in roasting pan w/ 2 inches of water or water & red wine. throw in small potatos & baby carrots -- chopped apples if you like.... cover w/ tinfoil. make sure there is always liquid in bottom of pan.

250 - 300 degrees for 3 hours more or less depending on size....... done!! serve on a pretty platter, make a sauce w/ liquid in bottom.
