Can you eat raw jelly?!


Question: I am talking about British jelly here as in the cubes you add water to. Can i eat them and i'm on a calorie controlled diet will the calories be he same for raw as made up as long i assume I'm eating the whole jelly?

You can eat the jelly. Fat generally in the normal jelly is zero, of which saturates is zero, it's the sugars. I eats loads of it and have done for years. There is a thing about it being good for nails, but being a bloke I have not noticed really, although, looking at my nails now, they are nice !
My mam used to encourage me as a kid to eat it, she said it would strengthen my nails!.
Friends of mine regularly eat cubes of jelly...mainly to strengthen their nails(?), but also gives a quick sugar rush to the body.
The calories should be the same as if you were adding water.
