Whats the best magazine for cooking?!
I was looking at Bon Apetite and that looked pretty good, but before i subscribe, i want to see if there is anything better than it.
Answers: i want a magazine that has recipies, cooking gadgets, kitchen styles and things of that nature.

Forget all those "other" magazines the people stated above. What you need to get is "Cooks Country." There are NO adds, and they do "testing" all of the time. The show on PBS called "America's Test Kitchen" Goes along with the magazine.
It's a bit on the pricey side, but it comes with tried and true recipes, a long lost recipe page, kitchen gadgets and ingredient tests. It's my favorite magazine by far.
If you're looking for a little fun however, I suggest Paula Deen's magazine. I love it! Tons of great recipes!
I think their is way too much bs. in bon appetit. I read it periodically, and each time I end up just throwing it away.
"Taste of Home" is good for just good recipes, but all that stuff about gadgets and wine is off their radar. But you can find all that on the web anyway.
i prefer going to cooks.com and allrecipes.com to look for some good stuff. As far as cooking gadgets http://www.amazon.com/Cooks-Illustrated/... is good.
I love Taste of Home!! It has some really great recipes. I also like Simple & Delicious and Light & Tasty. I've found some good recipes in those too. There’s usually a booklet enclosed too that has some kitchen supplies and gadgets. You can go to
www.tasteofhome.com and get a free trial issue. Happy cooking! :)
I like a lot f cooking magazines.
Cooking Light is really really good. But it really depends on the type of cooking you want to do.
There is Grilling Magazine. Lots of recipes, and gadgets but thats for grilling.
Food & Wine is another.
Gormet is in the lead for me.
At the Kraft website, you can get their magazine for free, all though it is only quarterly.
Best pics, and great recipes through out.
