Answers: I need a good , simple recipe for salisbury steak.
My hubby likes this recipe from his mom, it is good and simple.
One can Golden Mushroom soup, 1 # ground meat (beef, chicken, turkey, pork) 1 small onion chopped is optional. Brown the patties of meat and drain off fat. Add the onion and let cook about 5 minutes. Add the soup and just a little water. Cover and simmer on low at least 20 minutes. (You can add extra mushrooms to this if you want. If cooking more than 4 patties, use a second can of soup.) Serve with cooked rice or mashed potatoes or cooked pasta and a veggie, like collard greens, green beans, or something green.
