I hate to tell you but it is what it now is. If you try to water it it'll just taste diluted. If you make more soup then you can add it to tone down the pepper. Sorry, we all make mistakes in the kitchen.

More Water, More Cream, More Brocolli. Add to the Pot. Or you could just lie and say it's Cajun or Jamaican style, no one will ever know. wink. ;-}

You could not have added that much too much pepper - if so make a double batch and freeze some.
