I need a recipe for a cheeseball.just a simple 1.or if u have any other easy recipes for church homecoming?!
Answers: i need something that doesnt take alot of time but will feed plenty of people.
EASY CHEESE BALL
2 lg. Philadelphia or 1 lg. Philadelphia & 2 sm. Philadelphia with chives
2 pkg. chipped beef (Or for spicier version use 2 pkg. chopped corn beef or pastronie)
3 green onions with green tops
Green olives with pimento
Chop meat and onions; mix into Philadelphia. Form into a ball. Cover with sliced olives (so that pimento is viable within olive). Serve at room temperature with crackers.

1 packet Ranch dressing mix
Bacon bits
Mix cream cheese and dressing mix. Roll in bacon bits.

1 lb. sharp Cheddar
1 c. fine nuts
1 c. mayonnaise
1 sm. onion, finely chopped
Black pepper
Dash of cayenne
Combine all ingredients. Mix well. Season with pepper. roll in some seasame seeds or nuts

INGREDIENTS
2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
3 1/2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1 (1 ounce) package Ranch-style dressing mix
2 cups chopped pecans
4 pecan halves
(can substitue walnuts, peanuts, or other)
DIRECTIONS
In a large bowl, mix together cream cheese, Cheddar cheese, and dressing mix. Form into one large ball or two smaller balls. Roll in chopped pecans to coat surface. Decorate the top with pecan halves. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight.

Cheese Ball with Pecans
INGREDIENTS:
* 4 cups (16 ounces) shredded Cheddar cheese
* 1 cup chopped pecans
* 1/2 cup mayonnaise
* 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
* 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
* 1/8 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
* 1/2 cup chopped pecans
PREPARATION:
Combine first cheese, pecans, mayonnaise, chopped onion, pepper, and cayenne pepper in a large mixing bowl; beat at low speed of an electric mixer until well blended. Shape mixture into a ball and roll in 1/2 cup chopped pecans Chill for about 2 hours. Serve with assorted crackers.
Makes one cheese ball, about 5 inches in diameter.
this is an awesome recipe, just multiply it for a bigger function :)
block of Cream cheese,
worcestershire sauce (liberally),
splash of lemon juice,
dried onion or fresh if you wish,
cayenne pepper.
Mix that and then add a couple cups of
shredded cheese. Form into a ball and roll in either walnuts or pecans. It's yum
yum and best served with Triscuits!
I've added other ingredients to it like garlic, bits of bacon, sun-dried tomatoes...
You really can't go wrong! I think the real secret is the worcestershire sauce - it gives it a great flavour!
mix 2 large packages of softened cream cheese, with paprika, ground cumin and gar;lic powder. Mix well. Gather cheese in a ball and roll it in chopped green olives until covered. That's the easiest one I know.
