Will Lasagna be ok if I cook noodles and put ingredients in fridge to cook the next day??!

Question: I am going to cook lasagna, but I was thinking of cooking my noodles today and putting all the ingredients in my casserole dish today. Then putting it in the fridge till tomorrow and just throwing it in the oven when its time. Will this hurt the noodles? Or cause any contamination or anything.. I also add cottage cheese, prego sauce, regular cheese..etc...
So any of you cooks out there let me know!
Thanks!!

You are fine! You can also cover and freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw in frig for 24 hours and then cook as usual. (You can make 2 pans at once and freeze one, then, all you do is pull out of freezer day before.)
It will be fine.

You can buy noodles now that you do not even have to cook prior. That way you can construct it and bake the next day.

Nothing to contaminate, just make sure your meat is cooked in the sauce, never use raw meat.
Lasagna is a perfect "make ahead" dish. Just undercook the noodles slightly as they will soak up moisture from the other ingredients. Put it together, cover tightly with plastic wrap....and you are all ready for tomorrow.
Yes, you can do this with no problem. I often make lasagna, even baked ziti, and freeze it until we take it out to defrost it for a later time.
no, do not use cottage cheese. use ricotta cheese for an authentic italian taste. it is a good idea to put it together and cook the next day. all the flavors will blend and it will be delicious. make sure to add cooking time because the food itself will be cold from the fridge.
It will be fine. You just don't want the noodles to stick together. Add oil to them.
Don't use cottage cheese, use ricotta cheese instead for a better taste.
