Can I substitute white sugar for brown?!
Answers: I cannot get brown sugar in my village.. is it possible to substitute white for brown successfully?
YES. You can use white sugar and molasses.
For each 1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar called for in a recipe, use 1 1/2 tablespoons molasses plus 1 cup granulated sugar.
Or, if you don't have molasses, you could use maple syrup.
Happy cooking!
Yes but white sugar is far more processed than brown, so, if you are used to brown sugar, you may want to use more white sugar than you usually would brown although this may be far worse for your health and teeth.
Yes i always do, that white sugar is really no good, its to processed, i also make home brew beer with brown sugar, much better :-)
yes you can
Sure. why not..
yes
Actually, I've been substituting my white sugar to brown since I knew it's cheaper than the white. I found the brown better than the other one actually. It's because I find out that it's likely less ants in its container.
Well, you can surely substitute your sugar anytime... that's if you can find it in your village ^_^
You can, but it's not ideal, don't expect to get great results.
its not highly recommend as you will not get the same texture in you baking products but every thing else will be fine.
make sure when substituting you dissolve the white sugar properly as what ever you make will have a sharp sweet taste and lumps in the finished product even if the mixture looks fine before you cook it.
if you miss the malty taste from brown sugar another great product is palm sugar and is available almost every where.
you need to get a fine grater and grate it though and make sure you mix it properly. palm sugar is half way between white and brown sugar and is sold in a solid block it is used in a lot of Thai cooking.
if you also can not get palm sugar add a little bit of balsamic vinegar .a good one to get a malty taste.
Yes you can but you lose texture and flavour. Buy your brown sugar when you visit another are and lay in some stock.
no, different refining bases all together.
Crumble the remaining oat mixture over the chocolate layer, pressing in gently Once this is done, go to the gym. This is VITAL. You MUST get some exercise. First of all, everyone could be in better shape. Now that you're back on the meat market, you NEED to get yourself looking good for the opposite sex. More importantly however, are the healing effects of a good workout. You will work out all of that frustration, self doubt, loathing (for her and yourself), pain and anger. The endorphin rush alone will help to bring peace to your mind and soul. And you'll look better! Do this for as long as you can. Once you've moved on, it's not going to hurt to stay in shape. Along these lines, get yourself some new clothes, a new cologne, and some new things to replace the ones you've boxed up.
Next, you must go out. You MUST go out a lot. Ask out girls you see that you like. You feel AWFUL right now. You feel like SHE was THE ONE, and you'll never do better. You're wrong. But, you feel this, I know. It doesn't get much worse does it? You're in the PERFECT position to ask out the little hotties you meet, why? Because rejection DOES NOT HURT after a breakup. I know, it sounds crazy, but it's true. You've lost "the one" and you feel lost, hurt, confused, angry, etc, right? So if the next little Betty you meet says "no thanks" when you ask her out, you'll be FINE with it. In fact, you probably won't get a "no thanks". 95% of the women you ever ask out will say yes. Believe me, now is the time to approach the unapproachable girls. Now is the time to lay it out on the line, because there's no way they can hurt you now.
