about 3-5 minutes
i just put it in boiling water and wait for the water to come back to a boil again and take out and enjoy...
Mmmm, I think more like 8-10.... underdone leaves a chalky taste.
Put the corn into COLD water. (salted water or unsalted)

Bring to a boil for 5 minutes.

Remove it from the water, and enjoy with a little butter. It will be sweet, crunchy and NOT waterlogged.
The first answer is right.
If you OVER cook it, it will be mushy and tasteless.
Pop it into already boiling UNSALTED water for no more than 5 minutes--less if the kernels are tiny.
8 mins and then drain it will be done....Once it starts to boil.
You don't boil corn . Bring pot of water to boil add corn bring to 2nd boil shut off heat let sit 4 minutes enjoy.
