Quiche recipe?!


Question: I would like to make a quiche with ham and cheddar cheese,however all I have is two percent milk,the recipes I see call for half and half can I make it with two percent?

I always use regular milk, but, keep in mind that 2% is thinner than 1/2 n 1/2 therefore - either lessen the amount called for or add and additional egg.
Yes, you can use 2% milk, but it won't be as rich tasting as with half & half. You can also use evaporated milk.

the quiche recipe i use calls for milk so I see no problem with it.
It will be fine. Just won't be as rich and fattening as with half and half.
that's a quiche lorraine. the 2% might not give you that custardy filling you're looking for, it'll turn out a little bland. Try adding more cheese to make up for it?
