What is the hottest, spiciest thing you ever ate?!

Question: I'm growing some Bolivian Rainbow peppers.
They turn from purple, through yellow and orange to red.
I had tried/tasted the purple stage and found it pleasantly hot.
I then made the mistake of trying the orange.
I swear they is as hot as scotch bonnets.
I continued to swear for at least an hour.

Boy am I proud of them peppers.

A Chinese soy bean and chili paste, comes in jar found in asian supermarkets.
Black colour.

I'm a big fan of spicy, hot foods, and there are plenty of dishes that I've tried which I would NOT recommend to my more sensitive friends.

A local Asian restaurant, called Uncle Chen's, makes a Kung Pao Chicken (or shrimp) that can be adjusted for "heat". I always go for the upper-levels, and it's really hot (lots of Szechuan peppers, dried Thai chilies, and who-knows-what else). But of course, any dish can have heat/spice added to it.

The single hottest thing I ever tried---not a meal, just an ingredient---was chocolate habanero peppers. They were locally grown, and they don't taste anything like chocolate; they're so named because the skins are the color of milk chocolate. I cut up & ate one, and I thought I was going to die for about three hours. I also added one (chopped) to a large batch of chili, and it turned the whole pot of chili into a "four-alarm" affair.

Whew, even the memory brings a whiff of the same intensity. lol Good cure for a stuffed up sinus. lol I did make some 5 alarm chili once with several habaneros inside it, now THAT was hot stuff.
