Can anyone give me a recipe for the Scottish bun, JOCK'S LOAF?!

JOCK'S TEA LOAF

2 c. flour
1 c. sugar (half white, half brown)
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. ginger
1 egg
1/2 tsp. spice
1/4 c. butter
1 c. raisins, currants or chopped dates

Sift dry ingredients together. Cream butter and sugar together. Beat egg and add to butter mixture. Add alternately milk and flour mix, stirring well. Add fruit of choice. Grease and flour 2 small loaf pans. Bake at 325 degrees for 50-60 minutes.
