Lemon pepper on fish recipe?!
Answers: i have a container of lemon pepper. it says great on fish. can someone give me a recipe for how to use it this way, and what kind of fish would you use? thanks
Use it on any light white fish. Put fish in a prepared pan (spray with PAM) sprinkle a little Olive oil over each piece and then sprinkle the lemon pepper. I also sprinkle a little grated Parmesan. Bake at 375 for about 10 minutes or until flaky.
flounder cat fish or orange ruffy. wash the fishandseason it, squeeze some lemon and put some butter and hot sauce, put it in the broiler for like 20 minutes or until its done
Maybe you should fried it and then you put lemon pepper on it.
probably any kind, i think salmon is best.
You can find an elaborate recipe to use the lemon pepper, but you can also sprinkle it light on most fish that you would grill, bake or broil, and it will really add nice flavor. (I like lemon pepper chicken better, but fish is good too!)
oooohh i use the exact same thing i don't have a recipe though I pretty much just shake it on there throw it in cornmeal then in frying pan with hot crisco oil
I like to just put a little bit of lemon juice on the fish (any kind you like) then sprinkle the lemon/pepper on (go light if your not a big pepper fan). Then cook the fish anyway you prefer. It's a nice light meal.
I like lemon pepper on almost any kind of fish.
My favorites: Cat fish or halibut
Sprinkle lemon pepper and butter on the filets, then pan fry with butter or olive oil and some chopped garlic.
MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
You may use lemon pepper on ANY fish ... even 'breaded frozen fish.' My husband is an ex-chef, though, and since I LOVE fish, he fixes me 'lemon pepper crusted salmon' ... put about three times as much lemon pepper on the fish as you think you'd want (nearly cover it, in other words) and put it on a cookie sheet to roast in the oven ... 350 degrees for about 1/2 hour. Take out, serve with long grain and wild rice and some fresh steamed vegies. YUM.
Rub fish with Butter, sprinke Lemon/Pepper on buttered Fish and Broil at about 8 inches from flame. Works on most fish. If you have a thick piece of fish you might want to bake the fish partially before broiling. You might want to slice a lemon and use the slices to keep your fish off the Pan. It prevents the skin from sticking to the pan.
Bon' Apetite
You've received excellent suggestions for using the lemon pepper on fish, but I wanted to tell you it's wonderful on chicken, too. I liberally sprinkle it in the cavity of a chicken and all over the outside before I roast it. It's really good! Our grocery store deli's sell them cooked that way, too.
