King Prawn Tagliatelle

Chop roasted red peppers, tomaotes, red chillies and fry for 5 minutes, add praws, then add chopped flat leaf parsley and torn basil, stir, add a little water if needed & serve with linguine that you put on before you start, takes less than half hour start to finish.

Pancetta & Tomato

cook your pasta, meanwhile fry some pancetta then add a tin of chopped tomatoes with herbs or peppers orr whatever you fancy, simmer for a few minutes to reduce then serve with the pasta.

Or for the lazy:

Chicken & white sauce

using cooked chicken (left over roast, pre-cooked packs etc), put pasta on to boil, chop chicken and add to a jar or white lasagne sauce, add some sweetcorn and maybe another veg (chopped peppers/peas/broccoli) then mix with the pasta & bake until golden.

Pasta with Tomato sauce and Tuna is lovely...

Try searching google, they have hundreds of pasta recipes.

A great one is pasta with fish and peas in a cheese sauce - you flake the fish - also try pasta bakes, which are similar, tuna goes well with the broccoli one, mustard adds flavour to the chicken, and filled pasta like tortellini is the best with tomato sauce.
Finally have you tried things like noodles or spaghetti?

Don't know if this will help but I also eat alot of pasta and love nothing best than a quick fix of plain pasta covered in my favourite soup. It's quick, easy and loads of different soups to choose from. Hope this helps.

Pasta is easy and delicious but the trick is keeping the heavy toppings to a minimum without minimizing the taste.
Try these off-the-cuff ideas for quick “pasta toss” suppers for two. Vary quantities and ingredients to suit.
? Mix over medium heat to form a thin sauce: 4 oz. (125 g) goat cheese, 1/2 cup (125 mL) low-fat milk (1% MF) and 3 tbsp (45 mL) chopped Italian parsley; toss with 2 cups (500 mL) cooked farfalle and sugar snap peas.

? Sauté 3 cups (750 mL) sliced assorted wild mushrooms in 2 tbsp (30 mL) Becel margarine; add 1/2 cup (125 mL) beef broth and bring to boil; stir in a sliced scallion or green onion, 1 tsp (5 mL) fresh thyme and spread over cooked lasagna.

? Combine in blender until smooth: 1/4 cup (50 mL) walnuts, 1 clove garlic, 1/4 cup (50 mL) low-fat (1% MF) ricotta cheese and 1/2 cup (125 mL) low-fat (1% MF) milk; toss with cooked fettuccini.

check out www.jamieoliver.com It's got some great recipes there

ground beef and sauce
peas, chicken and chicken sauce (broth like)
mac and cheese with hotdogs slices, (small of course)
you can add any type of veggies or meat to cheese sauce and pasta sauces. good luck

A good standby for those unexpected guests is to make a sauce with tinned tomatoes and tinned tuna. Sweat off onion and garlic, add tomato purée, a can of plum tomatoes, a can of tuna, season with Italian herbs, season with a little salt and freshly ground black pepper.

Another standby dish, made in the same way, is to substitute the tuna with diced salami.

For vegans try broccoli broken up into very small twiglets and sweated off in olive oil, add sliced chilis to the onions and garlic. This needs quite a lot of olive oil so that you can coat the pasta.

you can make an easy fetticini sauce

try a lasagne for a change

mushroom, bacon, garlic cream sauce
basil pesto, chicken cream sauce
fried capsicum, onion, cougette, cherry tomato and olive oil
beef mince, garlic ,onion tomato sauce
cream sauce with smoked fish
pasta cold with tomato, olive ,cucumber ,garlic

PASTA WITH CHICKEN AND GARLIC BUTTER SAUCE
Preparation - Medium
Serves 4
20 minutes starting with already cooked chicken.

Great pasta dish with with grilled or barbecued chicken.

1 1/2 cups grilled or barbecued chicken, cut in morsels
3 tablespoons butter, olive oil or mixture of the two
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1/3 cup dry white wine
2 to 3 fresh cloves garlic, peeled and chopped fine
1 t oregano or thyme, fresh or dried (optional)
salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (if you want a garnish)
3/4 pound pasta (angel hair works well)
Pasta pot, saucepan or skillet large enough to accomodate pasta and chicken.

This dish is best with a 'pan finish' - cooked and drained pasta is added to other ingredients for final blending.

Put the pasta water on to boil.

Sautee the garlic in the butter on low heat until it just begins to turn color (light gold).

Add the chicken morsels and the (optional) oregano.

Add the lemon juice and white wine and allow to simmer so the sauce reduces slightly and the chicken absorbs the flavor.

Cook the pasta.

Drain the cooked pasta well, reserving some of the cooking water to moisten the pasta if some people like the sauce more 'liquid'.

Add the drained pasta to the sauce and mix well.

Serve on heated plates, garnishing with the parsley.

I'm froam italy and this is an italian recipe
400 gr macaroni,250 gr mozzarella,400 gr tomatos sauce, 100 gr black olives, 6 spoons of oil, 2 clove of garlic, a lock of parsley, salt, pepper

minced garlic and brown it in the hot oli,add tomato sauce and 3 spoons of water and salty. cover the pot with the cover and cook for 15 minutes. in the meantime cook pasta. before sauce has cooked adds minced olives, parsley and minced mozzarella. mix continually until when mozzarella will be fused. drip pasta and put it again in the pot and add the sauce. put the pot on the fire and mix for any minutes. serve it sprinkling with pepper

excuse me for error of grammar but it's difficulty translate the recipe

Oh dear, 'most important using sauces' generally means increased salt. I encourage my 4 year old by wholegrain pasta, takes a little longer to cook and can be tougher to chew. Drain you tuna and add to the cooked pasta (this dish can be eaten hot or cold) a dollop of low fat mayonaise, mix well and grate cheese over the top, after sprinkling sweetcorn over it. I enjoy it with garlic bread, good for the blood, in small doses.
