What should I serve with perogies?!

Question: I usually boil than lighty fry.

Answers: I usually boil than lighty fry.

Me too, but before hand I crisp up some bacon and crumble it; I also grill up (quite a few) onions in butter. Then I fry the pierogies in the onion pan. I also serve them with a dollop of sour cream. A lot of fat, I know, but they're so tasty!

A meat dish like a meatloaf
A vegetable like green beans.

if you re asking what to serve with the perogies, a nice kielbasi sausage, or a brat with sauerkraut.

I Love Perogies what i do is I buy some sausage, like the ekrich farms sausage(kelbasa) and slice it up and fry it with it, It's really good cause the perogies get a light flavor of the sausage, try it, I guarantee you'll like it

kielbasa and fried onions. and then either green salad, or a 3 bean salad, or some kinda vegetable. or mixed vegetables

crispy fried and crumbled bacon, some fried onion, a little sour cream and some shredded cheddar cheese......

I usually like to have fresh kielbasa with mine. Of course depending on your location the fresh may not be available to you but it's pretty abundant here in New England.
Its always in the stores around Easter although some stores/butcher shops have it ready to go year round.

Serve the pierogis up with a good, healthy dollop of sour cream.

I boil them, then toss with pesto and top with some Parmesan. (I know this is not authentic, but it's good.) Then a nice light green salad on the side to counteract the carbs.

u can make any side with it or make ham or pork chops and serve the perogies with them i do that and use the perogies as the side to our dinner... which u gave me my side for our steaks tonite, thank u ... i ran out of potatos so i can run to the store and pick these up and the kids like them and so do we... thanks again...

saurkraut and kielbasa
