Halloween Recipes...?!
Answers: We are having a potluck at work on Halloween. I'm trying to think of something that I could bring that would last until lunchtime... either something chilled or that can be kept in a crockpot would be good. It doesn't necessarily have to be Halloween related, but if it is that would be a plus.
sloppy joes in a crockpot

Pumpkin Soup . Its yummy . You could buy it from markets Maybe costs 18 bucks!
finger in a blanket and intestines filled with brains with a cup of blood
I found a lot of great ideas last Halloween from the website below. Tons of ideas on baking, and decorating.
Hope this helps!
If your commute is by automobile, the "something chilled" will be easiest and safest for you. Hot foods do not travel well - and bacteria develops.
Unless you think everyone will do it too, think about cupcakes. If you cut the cooled cakes through the equator, you can put the frosting on the inside. Less mess = more frosting to the mouth!
Have fun
Make a (half) sheet cake and decorate it with a mask on it. Mask = door prize.
Witches Broth

450g (1lb) pumpkin, peeled and diced
450g (1lb) potatoes, peeled and diced
225g (8oz) carrots, peeled and sliced
1 litre (2.2 pts) vegetable stock
Salt & freshly ground black pepper
5 ml (1tsp) ground ginger

150ml (1/4 pt) double cream
Method:
1. Place the onion in a large pan with the oil and sauté gently until tender.
2. Add the pumpkin, potato and carrots. Pour in the vegetable stock. Cover and simmer for 30-40 minutes.
3. Liquidize and return to saucepan. Season to taste, add ginger, milk and double cream; more or less depending on required consistency.

Well a few years ago i made graveyard pudding. You need a package of chocolate pudding mix, follow the recipie on there. You will then need oreo cookies, gummy worms, and other cookies like pepperidge farm milano cookies (any oblong shaped cookie will do) you can also put candy corn for decoration. Make the pudding put the cookies were u plz as tombstons and gummy worms sprinkle the cookies on top wala!! Enjoy! Hpe this helps
This is the recipe for the pudding mentioned above.
No bake Graveyard Halloween cake!
Ingredients:
2 packages Instant Chocolate Pudding (four serving size)
3 1/2 cups milk
2 8-ounce tubs of whipped topping
1 16-ounce package of chocolate sandwich cookies
1 package of Milano Cookies
Gummy Worms
Crush the entire package of cookies by placing them all in a zip style plastic bag & pound on the package. In a large bowl, make pudding as directed on the package but use 3 1/2 cups milk for both packages. Let stand 5 minutes. Mix in one tub of the whipping topping then mix in half of the crushed cookies. Spread the mixture into a 13x9 pan.
Sprinkle the rest of the crushed cookies on top. Put in refrigerator and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Use the Milano cookies to make the grave stones. Use the other tub of whipped topping to make ghosts. Stick gummy worms into the mixture so it looks like they are coming out of the dirt.

Also as an appetizer to be put out before lunch....These arachnid treats are easy to make and they look positively lifelike crawling across a snack plate.
For each:
2 round crackers
2 teaspoons smooth peanut butter and/or cheese spread
8 small pretzel sticks
2 raisins
With the peanut butter or cheese spread, make a cracker sandwich. Insert eight pretzel "legs" into the filling. With a dab of peanut butter, set two raisin "eyes" on top. Makes 1.
Green Ghoul Punch
(the ingrediants could be taken to work and assembled there)
1/2 gallon limeade
1 liter ginger ale
1/2 gallon lime sherbert
Mix together juice and ginger ale. Scoop sherbert and add to punch. Add marshmallows and maraschino cherries to float in punch.
