What is an easy meal to cook for begginers?!
Answers: I told the guy I'm dating I'd cook for him but I don't really know how to cook. I need a simple recipe that I can't mess up. Preferrably something vegetarian...I don't eat meat.
Linguine with Vegetables
1 pound linguine pasta
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 small zucchini, thinly sliced
1 yellow squash, thinly sliced
2 carrots, sliced thin
1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
1/2 onion, sliced
1 tablespoon lemon pepper seasoning
4 cloves crushed garlic
1/4 cup white wine
1. In a large pot with boiling salted water cook linguine according to package directions. Drain well.
2. Meanwhile, in a large skillet heat olive oil and add thinly sliced zucchini, squash, carrots, red bell pepper, onions, lemon pepper, and minced garlic. Cook on medium-high for five minutes, stirring frequently. Add white wine and continue cooking until vegetables are crisp-tender and liquid has reduced, about 5 to 10 minutes.
3. Toss cooked and drained pasta with sauteed vegetables and serve.

Spaghetti with salad .
beans on toast....lol
cheese ravioli is good and no meat involved. Can by the stuff already premaid and add sauce and seasoning. serve with salad and bread with oil for dipping. YUM!!!
make a bed of nacho chips on a plate, pile on some refried beans, a little salsa, and some shredded cheese, then heat it in the micro till the cheese is melted. Take it out and add sour cream. voila, well, its better than pb sandwich.
You can easily make a great veggie spaghetti and a salad. Best of luck!!!
A very simple thing to make is pasta. Get a box of noodles and a jar of meatless sauce. If you want to add things to it, you could add a number of vegetables like broccoli, onions, garlic, etc. Saute those in olive oil and add to the sauce .
Pick up a box of garlic bread or bread sticks and you're set!
check out the food network web site,or just do a search.the results will be endless.cmon
I know a good vegetarian pita pizza. you might want to have something with it though. Its made with whole wheat pita, spinach, tomatoes and feta...it's very good and simple. first slice some roma tomatoes thin and broil them with olive oit and salt....saute spinish in olive oil salt and a couple of cloves of garlic. when the tomatoes are finished(about 15 min check so they don't burn.) place them on the pita then put the sauteed spinach on top. Sprinkle them with feta and broil them a few min to melt the cheese and get the pita a little crispy...you might want to think of something else to have with it but this is very good!!! and simple!
You can't go wrong if you buy a salad preparation from a good supermarket, preferably a hot salad... you can prepare it while he's there then so it looks like you're doing everything... also serve with some oven baked garlic breads and some dressing for the salad. Buy a soup, one of the ones in a carton... heat and serve... some fresh strawberries and a big dollop of ice-cream and chantilly cream garnished with a sprig of mint for dessert... you can buy all of this at a supermarket for about €15 - 20... very easy to prepare for you, and very delicious and looks like a lot of effort went into preparing it...
