Cook over medium heat about 5 minutes or until thoroughly heated, stirring occasionally. For a party keep warm in a slow cooker. Makes about 68 meatballs.

Never had them, but I've heard of them. Sounds like something a pregnant woman would crave!

Yes a guy I work with makes them, just buy frozen sweedish meatballs & dump in a crockpot w/ grape jelly... they're pretty yummy.

EWWWWWWW!!!!! Never heard of it!

You put some BBQ sauce in with the jelly...

old school appetizer. just like clothing, food goes in and out of style. you can actually just take any meatball recipie, or some good-quality fozen ones, and put them in some grape jelly. heat your grape jelly first and then stir in the meatballs. if you use frozen, lethtem heat through in the jelly.

I have made them lots of times and they are very easy. Heat up 1 small jar (about 1 cup) and stir in 1 jar of Hines chili sauce (about 12 oz.). Heat it until mixed and smooth and pour it over your meatballs, that's it. very easy. Another variation that is really really good to, is to substitute a can a jellied cranberry sauce for the grape jelly. Both recipes only have two ingredients and are wonderful. Everyone loves them!

i never would have believed they'd taste good, but a friend of mine makes them and they ARE good. they don't taste at all grapey. the jelly is mixed with barbecue or chili sauce and the 2 flavors combine into sort of a sweet/salty/mildy spciy sauce. my friend uses frozen meatballs and just dumps everything into her crock pot....

...... of course she didn't tell me what was in them until AFTER i'd tried them the first time :-)
