Ideas for dinner?!
Answers: Hiya everyone. Ideas for dinner please? I have Prawns, Crab sticks, Potatos, Bread, Rice, Noodles, Tuna. I obviouisly don't want to use all of these in a meal lol I know what some of you are like... Thank you sweeties
OK I'd make a potato and tuna fish salad. Boil the potatoes and mash them. Put the prawns, cut up crab sticks and the tuna over the potato and if you can, add: grated onion and hard boiled egg. Top with mayonnaise or olive oil.
Stick all that stuff on a homemade pizza!
what about a seafood pasta bake
Mmmmm What about grilled tuna on a bed of spicy noodles? Yummy
Stir fry prawns with noodles (adding some sauce, maybe soy if you have any or even some Lea and Perrins) and eat with buttered bread.
If you have some eggs and frozen mixed veg you could make prawn fried rice. Or you could have baked potato and tuna. Enjoy.
Take the things you like most and enter it into this online search... it will give you a number of recipes to choose from. Go to the "Leap Over Web Clutter" section here.... I think it's the second link.
Try the following
Italian stir fry
1 tbsp olive oil
? onion, finely chopped
? red chilli, finely chopped
1 garlic clove, finely chopped
1 beefsteak tomato, roughly chopped
2 tiger prawns, cleaned, shell removed and chopped
125g/4oz rice noodles, cooked according to packet instructions
1 tsp chopped fresh parsley
1 tsp chopped fresh chives
salt and freshly ground black pepper
Method
1. Heat the oil in a wok or heavy-bottomed pan. Add the onion, chilli and garlic and fry until soft.
2. Add the tomato and prawns and stir-fry until the prawns are completely cooked through.
3. Add the noodles and parsley to the pan and mix thoroughly together. Season, to taste, with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
4. To serve, place noodles on a warmed plate and garnish with the chives
Saute potato cubes, onion (optional) prawns and crab sticks together.
Once almost done, (first potato then the fish products), add cooked rice and stir/mix the whole lot together.
Add a little curry powder, (masala) or chillies powder if you like, just for a bit of a bite...
Now you have "mock jambalaya".
YUMMY
Enjoy.
