I just made about 40 cup cakes for a party tomorrow night. How should I store them so that they are?!

Question: still fresh and moist for tomorrow night? I have them in a foil pan right now, should I cover with foil or plastic wrap and store in refrigerator or on top of counter top with a cover on it? I am worried if I put in refrigerator they will become hard for tomorrow night, but if I leave out on kitchen counter top, I am afraid they will not be fresh. Please tell what is the best option. Thank you very much

You are serving them tomorrow so leaving them at room temp should be fine. Just make sure that they are wrapped tight. The key is to not let any air get to them, thats what makes them hard

wrap them in plastic in the pan and leave them on the counter. make a tight seal with the plastic wrap. ice them in the morning, or before serving and they will be perfect!

you should wrap the cupcakes in foil. you don't have to put them in the refrigerator.

p.s. have fun at your party

use tubbaware and put them in a room tempiture area

I normally drape a dish towel over the cupcakes to keep them fresh until the next day if they are not iced.

Walmart sells these boxes that you can put the cupcakes in. They are in the arts & crafts section, next to the cookie cutters and fondant. The boxes are cute, and hold a cupcake each. I think a pack holds 3 boxes..
